I am a Bristol based artist and my artwork features urban landscapes of my home town and beyond. My paintings feature graffiti covered buildings or abandoned spaces, and document the changes taking place across many cities, highlighting vast differences in many cities and gentrification which has taken place in recent years.
My art is based on my photography as I often take photos of daily life or scenes in cities which I reproduce as art in my own style. I work with spray paint and paint pens producing colourful recognisable artwork.
My art varies and features well known landmarks of a city such a the Clifton Suspension Bridge or Harbourside cranes in Bristol, contrasting to graffiti covered alleyways or boarded up buildings. I also paid the night scenes of cities from all over the world such as London, New York and other cities, painting vibrant skylines with light trails and reflections of light.
I paint most days and use any spare time I get to work on new paintings, I find the painting process therapeutic and part of my daily routine.
