Lilia Orlova-Holmes creates expressionist paintings that capture ethereal ‘gardenscapes’. Lilia follows an intuitive process, using fresh colours, delicate textures and gestural brushstrokes.
Her final paintings combine memories, thoughts, and real and imaginary places, imbued with spontaneity and movement.
Lilia opens her paintings to the viewer’s interpretation, encouraging a spectrum of experiences and understandings.
Lilia works from her studio at Nucleus Art Center in Medway.
She enjoys being a part of a creative community of over 40 artists and regularly exhibits at The Halpern gallery and Halpern Pop in Chatham and Rochester.
Lilia has many collectors around the world and in the UK.
In 2022 she exhibited her works at the John Davies Gallery in Cotswold and participated in The Other Art fair, organised by Saatchi art in London.
