The inspiration

I wanted to paint a few portraits of artists in front of their own work. I thought that reproducing their work accurately would give me an insight into the skills that they used. This is Francis Bacon in his younger years in front of one of his fantastic works of art.

About the artist

I am a figurative painter based in Cornwall. UK. Apart from ' A' level art, I have no formal training, my art has self developed over many years. I love to paint people from all walks of life, there is no such thing as an ordinary person, everyone is extraordinary in their own way, I like to paint intimate portraits which illustrate some of that.

Postage is free. As we’re handling fragile artworks, we carefully wrap all pieces and only use a signed service for all of our shipping.
