I love the Scottish Highlands and it was whilst travelling the North Coast 500 that I came upon this little scene. A cluster of white washed buildings clinging to the side of the loch, surrounded by a tapestry of brackens, grasses and other wild plants. I loved the layers of interest in the landscape.

I love the Scottish Highlands and it was whilst travelling the North Coast 500 that I came upon this little scene. A cluster of white washed buildings clinging to the side of the loch, surrounded by a tapestry of brackens, grasses and other wild plants. I loved the layers of interest in the landscape.

About the artist

I am a freelance Artist and Designer with a large portfolio of varied work which ranges from bold landscapes to very detailed illustrations. My work is always colourful and I love to mix painting with printing and mixed media techniques in my quest to create something new and unique. My work is inspired by nature and I love travelling around the UK looking for anything that inspires me to create.
