The inspiration

This painting was inspired by one of my many walks in the Yorkshire Dales. One of my favourites winds through Swaledale, past the remains of Crackpot Hall. Dry stone walls covered with lichen divide the landscape into a patchwork of buttercup filled meadows.

About the artist

I am a freelance Artist and Designer with a large portfolio of varied work which ranges from bold landscapes to very detailed illustrations. My work is always colourful and I love to mix painting with printing and mixed media techniques in my quest to create something new and unique. My work is inspired by nature and I love travelling around the UK looking for anything that inspires me to create.
