The inspiration

This painting is a colourful impressionistic work which attempts to capture the cosy and intimate feel of a gated track between dry stone walls in the Yorkshire Dales.

About the artist

I am a freelance Artist and Designer with a large portfolio of varied work which ranges from bold landscapes to very detailed illustrations. My work is always colourful and I love to mix painting with printing and mixed media techniques in my quest to create something new and unique. My work is inspired by nature and I love travelling around the UK looking for anything that inspires me to create.
