This piece was originally completed in 2019 but was reworked in 2021 to include an additional layer and extra detail. The newer piece is made from 9 layers; each one a single piece of card with the detail reproduced through carefully thought out arrangements of individual cuts. This local landmark was an early architectural piece. It was the first where Claire used her trademark style of placing the background in front of the structure. The Abbeydale Picture House is a building that Claire loves, and she wanted to capture its beauty through her work.
