My name is Cherry and I'm a coloured pencil artist! I spend my days drawing animals, from pets to wildlife, from my home studio in the gorgeous Hertfordshire countryside. I've always had a huge love of dogs and after drawing my own two pups, Cherry Watson Illustration began! Since late 2017 I have been lucky enough to illustrate so many animals, predominately pet portraits of our beloved dogs, cats, horses and the occasional parrot! My work also includes beautiful wildlife pieces, from hares and pheasants to fallow deer, and animals I see on my daily dog walks, like gorgeous cows and birds!

I am a self-taught printmaker, working and teaching from my kitchen studio in Kent, alongside my day job as a speech therapist. I make small, thoughtful prints which are often based on my love of exploring. I see beauty in the bleak, the old and the ordinary. Many of my prints feature things I find - fossils, roadside flowers, old bottles and vintage kitchen items. I love teaching printmaking for all ages and abilities and I run workshops at home and in local schools.

Chio Fernández is originally from Málaga, Spain but relocated to London in 2009. From an early age, she was a talented painter and this love of art later progressed also to photography. While studying Civil Engineering in Spain, she made the brave decision to leave her degree and follow her passion. She moved to London where she completed a BA in Photography and Film at the University of Roehampton, graduating in 2014 and becoming a full time freelance photographer. In 2020, after finding herself with plenty of time in her hands due to the several lockdowns and related working limitations, Chio revisited her passion for painting and her work has become very popular amongst art lovers. Other than attending some classes in her home town of San Pedro de Alcántara when she was 10, she is mainly self-taught. For the past year, she has been creating beautiful colourful abstract paintings of women that are becoming a reflection and celebration of womanhood, female beauty and the challenges we encounter in this world. In less than a year she has already booked her first gallery show in The Depot, London, and her work is showcased in multiple locations across Hertfordshire.

Cathie grew up in London before moving out West for university. She liked it so much, she stayed! A lover of both theatre and art, she spent some time painting sets at the National Theatre before becoming a stage manager, prop maker, teacher and then artist. Cathie has exhibited in various venues around Bristol, including The Island and Room 212, while supporting local mental health charities - an issue very close to her heart. Most of her artwork is small-scale, often no bigger than 20x20cm (a vast change from the scale required for theatre) and uses a combination of finger-painted strokes, fine detail and vibrant colour to capture the spectacle of the unexpectedly beautiful things in life. Expect to see white vans in city streets, warm lights on dark nights and lots of clouds. Sometimes Cathie craves working on something larger so every year or two she completes a 'big project painting' which she uses to continually develop her practice. She also creates limited edition lino print Christmas cards, with new designs each year. These are always very popular and have become a collectors' item for those who receive them.

A graduate of Falmouth College of Art, Jill lives and works in Cornwall. Whatever her surroundings, they challenge her to translate them, the Cornish coast being no exception - the beauty of the sea is ever changing, holding the promise of freedom...or adventure. During her degree she studied for three months at the Accademia di Belli Arti, Venice. Since then, she has been further afield to travel in Peru and Mexico, the Arctic - taking her paints with her. In 2005 she went to work as Expedition Artist with Raleigh International in Chile. In 2015 Jill worked on the first International Arts festival in Bhutan, creating a large processional willow sculpture. Travel, different cultures, working with wonderful people have all blended into inspiration for her artwork, and excitement about the world around her. She continues to try to capture beauty within her work, predominantly working in oils, but excited by different media, gold leaf, lino print, fresco. Her art is about the landscape of life in all its forms – it’s fleetingness, it’s poetry, it’s loneliness, and it’s reality.

I am a lino print maker, living in the south of Sheffield with my husband and two small humans. I often stop short of calling myself an artist, but am becoming more comfortable with the idea that what I make is art and therefore I probably am! I started lino printing about 6 years ago, but got back in the swing of it properly this year after a few years hiatus (see above re. small humans!). The lino printing process really appeals to the practical side of my brain, the physical carving of the lino I find very therapeutic, and the printing process always holds a few surprises. My prints are largely of British wildlife, and I enjoy the challenge of capturing the texture of fur and feathers. I am currently working on a series of garden and woodland bird prints. When I’m not lino printing, I sing in a women’s barbershop/acapella chorus -Steel City Voices - and I enjoy a spot of wild swimming.

I am an illustrator, print maker and mural artist. Originally from Shropshire, I grew up with a love of nature which heavily inspires my work today. I moved to Sheffield for University, and inevitably stayed after meeting the amazing creatives this city houses. I graduated in 2019 with a degree in Illustration from Sheffield Hallam University. I began to further my interest in lino printing during my degree which is still a key part of my practice today. My work and style is varied (one day I might settle!), but throughout it all is always the sense of the importance of well being and our natural world, as both are close to my heart.

Dave is a printmaker who lives in Chesterfield, having moved there from Sheffield at the start of 2020. In his teens he attended art college in his native Portsmouth but after a couple of decades of living in Sheffield and not doing much with his art, he attended a drawing and painting night school class at Hillsborough college. This was followed by a printmaking course at the same place, where he quickly fell in love with making lino prints and he ended up doing the same course three times. Dave's work is sold in shops, cafes and studios in the Sheffield and Chesterfield area. He sells handmade cards, prints and also has his designs printed onto wood and slate. He also sells his items through Etsy and teaches lino printing. He's recognised for his imagery of running, cats, tattoos and mermaids in particular, however he's best known for his "Do Not Lick Pigeons" prints and beer mats, which appear in pubs and cafes from time to time. There's a definite abstract element to his work (and his brain).
